Beth is a Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach based in Boston, Massachusetts. Ever since she was young, Beth has always been a social butterfly with a penchant for understanding people. Her natural ability to help friends, family, and colleagues develop sustainable habits to live healthier lifestyles while understanding exactly what they needed in terms of accountability, led her to explore the industry of Health and Wellness as a career rather than just a hobby. Balance By Beth™ was born from her passion for health and wellness and her belief that a healthy lifestyle is all about balance.
Many things can get in the way of eating right and exercising, but despite busy schedules, bad days, and social obligations, it is totally possible to stay on track. She's worked with many people - probably similar to you - who were ready to transform their lives through small changes to their diet, exercise, and mindset, but didn't know how to get started.
Beth has committed her life to helping others practice the “big changes in small steps” approach. This model creates a small shift in habit that has a big impact on overall health, weight management, energy levels, and mood, so that individuals can live confidently within a healthy mind, body, and soul. Beth helps her clients improve their wellbeing, achieve their goals, and form positive habits to live a balanced life, while guiding them to become the best version of themselves.
Beth is a self-love advocate who believes in body positivity, self-confidence, and gratitude. She values all things balance, fitness, and making time for self-care. In her free time, you can find her indoor cycling, boxing, cooking, at the beach, or planning her next international trip. Beth received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a Certified Health Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition®.

What is Health Coaching?
A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority helping clients feel their best through changes to their diet and lifestyle. They tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs and provide immense accountability throughout the process of behavior change. Health Coaches guide their clients to success and give them the tools they need along the way to maintain a balanced lifestyle longterm. Instead of a one-size fits all approach, Health Coaches take the time to customize a plan that is best for you on your personal health and wellness journey.
What types of clients do you work with?
In general, my clients are individuals who are motivated to improve their overall health and lifestyle. Typical goals include weight loss and maintenance, clean eating and meal preparation, increased physical activity, lower body fat percentage, building strength, improved sleep and energy levels, and stress reduction and management. I also work with clients on their personal and professional goals, some of which include career development, relationship coaching, home environment, mindfulness, and self-care.
How long do clients work with you?
Length may vary, but I encourage most clients to commit to a minimum of 3 months. This recommendation is solely based on the principles of behavior change. It allows enough time for my clients to make sustainable behavior changes that affect their overall health through small steps and repetition paired with receiving ongoing support and mentorship. I offer additional shorter programs, initial health assessments, and hourly lessons that introduce clients to coaching.
What if I don't live in Boston?
If you're not local, don't worry! I work with clients from Coast to Coast, all over the U.S. We are able to meet face-to-face via FaceTime or Skype or have phone sessions.
